The only toner I’ve ever used was Dickinson’s Witch Hazel. I tried it and it didn’t break me out so I thought it was good enough. But then, I read all these reviews on Etude House’s Wonder Pore Freshener so I just had to try it. I was blown away by the results so I think I’ve found a replacement for my old toner. (Sorry Dickinson’s!)
The packaging is quite adorable. I especially love the little illustrations on the side of the box. The instructions explain two ways you can use this product. You can put some on a cotton ball and wipe your face after cleansing. Or, you can put some into a spray bottle and use it as a facial mist.
This product boasts 7 benefits to your pore solution which are:
- Deep cleanse pores
- Maintain ph 4.5 ± 1
- Control a large amount of the sebum
- Minimize appearance of pores
- Refine the skin tones
- Keep the elasticity of pores
- Moisturize inside and outside of skin
I can definitely see some of these benefits in action. By midday, my T-zone starts to feel oily. However, after using this toner, it has been controlling the amount of sebum. I don’t even have to powder my face anymore! Also, after using this for one week, I could see visible results. My pores are really apparent on my nose and I also get annoying blackheads. Check out this before and after picture after just one week of using the toner.
Although the amount of blackheads looks to be about the same, you can definitely see that my pores are more refined and smoothed out. I don’t see little craters anymore! xD
